Dr. Amos Yong

Dr. Amos Yong will be Dean of both the School of Theology and School of Intercultural Studies at Fuller Theological Seminary, in Pasadena. He came to Fuller in 2014 from Regent University School of Divinity, Virginia Beach, VA, where he taught for nine years, and Bethel Seminary, St. Paul, MN, and Bethany College of the Assemblies of God.
Dr. Yong is one of the world’s most prolific Pentecostal theologians. He has written almost four dozen books and more than 200 scholarly articles, drawing on many subjects including Pentecostal theology, the Christian-Buddhist dialogue, disability and mission, hospitality and the mission of God. He was born in Malaysia of Buddhist background and immigrated to the United States.
Dr. Yong’s wide interests and background will help to make for a message that will have profound implication and application for everyone who hears him.
