Cease Not to Pray

Remember the time we used to have dial up Internet? When we wanted to connect to the net, we had to unhook the telephone line and plug it in to the computer... The calls would be blocked while we were browsing the net.
Now we have high-speed Internet that stays online 24/7. No more plugging or dialing. What fascinates me the most is a popup window that appears often on my screen: The upgrades required for your computer has been successfully downloaded!
Although I am unaware of my need for an upgrade, my computer is in constant communication with the servers and is processing my requirements in the background. Isn’t it amazing?
This is what Paul means when he says, "cease not to pray."
Prayer is like being on-line with God, all the time, even if we are not consciously aware of it. I am not "dialing up" on specific times, using specific methods. Instead, my spirit is in constant communication with the Spirit of God, and is downloading all the necessary upgrades for my soul on a continual basis.
