Apostle John narrated Jesus' prayer for Himself, His disciples and all believers (John 17:1-26). Jesus interceded for all of His followers as He was preparing to return to His Father after completing the work the Father gave Him to do (17:4). He did this so that all would know God and grow in the fellowship with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit (17:2-3).
As a community of believers, we also need to pray for one another as Jesus did.
Pray for ourselves, our family and fellow-church members, and for all believers around the world. So that, all may know the Father as the only true God, Jesus Christ as the only mediator and savior and Holy Spirit as the one who empower us in our faith-life from earth to glory.
Only God can help us, our children and the entire believers' community to live a sanctified life with godly character and bring glory to God. So, deliberately uphold one-another in prayer!
